Tinsdills Solicitors partner with Oosha to provide Digital Workspace solution

Following a comprehensive IT strategy review, Oosha has been selected by Tinsdills Solicitors to provide a Digital Workspace solution to their 80+ staff from early April 2021. With user experience and mobility a key focus to support the Staffordshire-based firm’s hybrid working aspirations and their next phase of growth.

Tinsdills Solicitors have been practicing law in one guise or another for almost 350 years. During this time, they have grown both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. Today, they are supporting individuals and businesses from their Hanley, Leek, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Sandbach offices.

After meeting with Tinsdills IT Manager, Jaki Cooke, at The Alternative Legal IT Conference, there was an instant synergy that kick-started the relationship.

With a pre-existing hosted solution that was coming towards end-of-life, Tinsdills decided  they needed to start searching for a new partner. Tinsdills required a partner with whom they could build a genuine relationship with and someone who understands the legal sector, both of which they trusted Oosha could satisfy.

Oosha is creating a Digital Workspace that encompasses various legal applications including, Practice Evolve, ALB, new digital dictation software Diktamen, and Office 365. The Digital Workspace will be pivotal in improving productivity and collaboration while enabling Tinsdills to use Microsoft Teams video conferencing in the secure virtual session.

The Digital Workspace will be underpinned by Oosha’s specialist legal support service - with Oosha handling all 3rd line issues and providing 1st and 2nd line cover for holidays and sickness when required.

Jaki Cooke, IT Manager at Tinsdills commented “We have always invested in stable infrastructure that performs well but we have noticed our current platform limits our ability to expand into more modern ways of working.

Oosha’s approach to security focusing on protecting ourselves and our clients was a differentiating factor compared to others in the process. We liked the way they aligned the IT provisions to our business needs, with value added services building a legal business community.

We are excited for the future and working in a truly proactive collaborative partnership.”

Matt Newton, Oosha Joint-Managing Director commented “After meeting Jaki at Alternative Legal IT, I knew that we would make the perfect partnership. Tinsdills have always been an ambitious organisation from both a commercial and IT perspective. They identified that if they were to continue to grow, they needed a scalable IT solution that would attract new talent by offering the best technology.

Leveraging the Oosha Digital Workspace, the team at Tinsdills will have an exceptionally high performing IT platform, that brings together their legal apps, collaboration tools and Microsoft Office suite for the best user experience on the market.

Not only this, but the people are fantastic at Tinsdills and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
