This autumn’s top transfer story! Becky Marandola has put pen to paper on a new deal that means she has joined Oosha as our first Head of Talent & Culture.
Continued growth and a prolonged period of working from home have resulted in a very tricky situation when it comes to maintaining company culture for many organisations, and we are no different. So, we are very excited to enlist the help of Beck Marandola who has become our first Head of Talent & Culture.
Becky is joining Oosha from Collins Aerospace where she previously worked as Learning and Development and Talent Lead. Becky has over 20 years’ experience in HR and in true learning and development fashion, she is spending the next few years ticking off some of her life long ambitions including becoming a yoga teacher, buying a campervan to travel around the UK and when we spoke to her earlier this week, her first set of DJ decks’ had arrived as she aspires to play a set in Ibiza one day!
Becky commented ‘I am super excited about being a part of the Oosha family. Working with a progressive IT Managed Service Provider is new territory for me. As well as learning about all of the great services Oosha provides and clients we support, an integral part of this new role will be to ensure we maintain a high performing culture that can sustain future growth. A culture where people come first and have their clients at heart, whilst continuing to maintain that fun, friendly, positive vibe which attracted me to the business in the first place.’
We strongly believe that a healthy culture is the key to ensuring client happiness, and this appointment has been a long term goal of the board. As an in-demand company with growth aspirations, Becky will help us to implement a recruitment strategy that provides Oosha with a conveyer belt of talented young engineers.
Becky’s experience and positive outlook will help to support Oosha to invest in our current team of talented technicians but also to attract new talent to support our growth aspirations. One of her first tasks will be to help all team members, to develop bespoke development plans around the next generation of technology. We believe this is the key to engaging our people, creating a more motivated workforce which will ultimately lead to even happier clients!
